Defensible Documentation: Spread the Word!

As part of the ever-evolving Defensible Documentation project, the staff of APTA's Practice Department has developed an approximately 2-hour educational session that YOU (or another component leader) can present to attendees at district, chapter, or section meetings. The presentation shares ways to document skilled care and medical necessity, maximize reimbursement, and ensure compliance. In addition, after successful completion of a post-test, available on APTA's Web site, the course is worth .2 CEUs. The CEU opportunity is free for members and $50 for non-members. Everything is assembled for you to present information proficiently, including general instructions, slides with instructor notes, and document samples. To receive a copy of the presentation, please contact Anita Bemis-Dougherty at anitabemis-dougherty@apta.org or at ext 8513.
